The PV20DB is used where the cable distance or number of TV's require amplification of the original signal. The distribution amplifier pumps up the signal with dB gain so a sufficient signal strength is present at each outlet or at the end of a long cable run. The PV20DB amplifies without over-driving the TV's with too much signal.
