Engineers have long stated that the uglier the antenna the better it will perform. But as high-definition television (HDTV) becomes more popular, demand is growing for HDTV antennas that blend into the design of the home while still reliably locking into the HDTV signals. The new Lacrosse HDTV antenna was designed to address this demand.
Based upon remote sensing technology, previously only available to the military, the Lacrosse is the first HDTV antenna to employ state of the art signal reception capabilities with a revolutionary design that will complement even the most discerning homeowner.
Available in both an amplified and non-amplified versions, the Lacrosse has an approximate gain of 10.8 dB. The amplified version includes an ultra-low noise 17 dB amplifier. It is one of the strongest multi-directional antennas available and performs consistently across the entire UHF spectrum (channels 14-69). It even works well in areas where HD transmitters are in multiple directions.
